If you currently operate a blog then this might be the most important article you read today.

Here's why...

If you take a look at the average blog online today you'll find that the typical site contains some form of advertising on it. An ad at the top of the page, on the left side, on the right side, at the bottom....you name it.

But the majority of these blogs barely bring in any kind of re-occurring income if anything at all.

Finally, someone's going to give you some strategies for turning your blog into a monthly re-occurring income stream using just a few simple tweaks.

What's the best use of a blog?

Here are 3 of the best ways to use a blog for your business.

1. New product launches

Do you have a new product that you will soon be releasing? Using your blog is the perfect place to do this. Just a few short paragraphs mentioning your new release and your done.

2. New's makers

Do you have some really important news that you'd like to share with your customers? It should be an exclusive. Something that can't be found anywhere else.

3. New school education

Do you offer an online course? Ongoing training of some kind? A tele-seminar?

Making an announcement on your blog is a great place to let your readers know what you have to offer.

Exactly what kind of ads work best on blog sites

The type of ads that tend to work best on blog sites are the kind that have a human voice to them. They ultimately must make a connection with people. Or your just boring them...and the chances of turning them into a regular visitor are slim and none.

Oh, and here is another bit of useful information.

Blog readers love exclusives!

Read that again if it didn't sink right in...I'll wait .

Yep, they like to know that they are getting up to date timely information that no one else has.

What are the 2 types of blogs that are most popular right now

This was the question that I wondered and needed to find the answer to.

And here's what I came up with....

New's and opinions.....

Primarily if their focused on public policy and the war...

That's it... these are the 2 types of blogs that generate the most traffic and the most profits. But, there is a bit of good news.

Here's the 4 up and comers

Now despite the fact that public policy and the war are the 2 main topics that bloggers want to read about, there are some new up and comers who've shown signs that they too will become popular soon.

They are:

1. Sports blogs

2. Gay blogs

3. Tech blogs

4. Pop culture blogs

Now how can you use this information?

I personally would recommend that you use a little sarcasm and humor in your writings as well. I found these to be the 2 most popular ways that blog owners use to communicate.
